Road / Bridleway
Leave the car park and turn right on the road, and then immediately left on the bridleway.

Bridleway
Ride north parallel to the canal then sharp left into the wood ignoring the bridleway straight ahead.

Turn sharp left over the canal.

At the junction of tracks at the edge of the wood ride straight on into a track known as Hopwas Heys Lane.

Cross a stream then fork right to Common Lane, and turn right on Common lane. Take the first bridleway left, Sandy Lane.

Turn left on Sandy Lane, turning right at the cross tracks, down to Lichfield Road.

Turn left on Lichfield Road.

Leave the road and ride parallel to Lichfield Road, then left to ride beside Tamworth Road.

Cross straight over the road onto a bridleway.

Turn left on the Heart of England Way.

Cross Jerry`s Lane and then right and left across Knox`s Lane towards Buck`s Head Cottages.

Turn left at the cross roads of bridleways (Knox\'s Grave Lane) to the road.

Turn left briefly on the A51 and shortly right again into Hopwas Heys Wood.

Follow the track to your left, keeping the wood on your right.

Turn sharp right to ride through Hopwas Heys Wood back to the Tame Otter.
